Sunflower Diaper Service will close diaper service operations at the end of September 2017.
We want to thank our customers, friends, family, community supporters and partners that have championed our work in Indianapolis and the surrounding area. Together, we’ve kept well more than 100,000 diapers out of the landfill!
Currently, our plan is to sell the diaper service’s assets, including the diapers, used pails, commercial laundry equipment, pail liner bags. Current service customers will have an opportunity to purchase diapers and pails from us at a reduced rate. The remaining diapers will be either be sold to other diaper services in bulk or will be made available at Toasty Baby.
We are not actively seeking a buyer for the business, but welcome serious inquiries.
This is a hard decision, but the correct one for our family and business long term. We will now focus on our retail business, Toasty Baby, for which we have high hopes and FUN plans. ... See MoreSee Less
"I wish I would have found your service while I was pregnant." This is what Erica (name changed) said on a phone call today. Erica cloth diapered on her own, but has since found our service and LOVES not having to wash her own diapers.
Does diaper service save you money? It can, yes. More of than not, our service end up being about the same cost as buying single-use diapers.
To me, the true value we offer is in the fact that too-busy parents don't have to compromise on the life they want for their kids. Having a baby doesn't have to be wasteful and harmful for the generations that come after us.
