With many years of experience as a TV reporter and non-profit leader, Debra Des Vignes felt called to dig deeper into social justice. During this talk, learn how asking to volunteer at the Plainfield Correctional Facility led to founding the Indiana Prison Writers Workshop. The first of its kind in the nation, the program has transformed the lives of hundreds of inmates in Central Indiana—empowering them to find hope and healing through written words.
